Effective November 1, 2026. Publisher: New Era Labs (New Era Intelligence), Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Pagewick has no account, no server of its own and no ads. Your books, shelves, reading sessions, goals, quotes and reminder times are stored only on your phone.
When you search for a book or scan a barcode, Pagewick sends only the text you typed or the scanned ISBN to Open Library (openlibrary.org, run by the Internet Archive) to look up titles, and loads cover images from covers.openlibrary.org. Nothing else is sent: no account, no reading history and no identifier from us. Search text is not saved by Pagewick and is not shared with anyone else. Open Library receives your request like any website visit, including your IP address; see the Internet Archive privacy policy.
The camera is used only to read a book barcode while the scanner is open. No photo or video is saved or sent.
Reminders are local notifications. Backups, imports and Year in Review posters are created on your phone and only go where you choose to share them. Uninstalling the app deletes its data from your phone.
Pagewick contains no analytics, no crash reporting service, no advertising SDK and no advertising ID. If this ever changes, this page will be updated before the change ships.
Pagewick Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play. We receive no payment details; Google Play tells the app only whether Pro was bought.
Pagewick is not directed to children under 13.
