1. Overview

Blackjack Mastery Trainer ('21 Mastery') is an educational card strategy academy, mathematical Expected Value (EV) coach, and Hi-Lo card counting simulator for adults (18+). The app runs 100% locally on your device using an on-device SQLite database (blackjack_mastery.db) with zero cloud servers, zero user tracking, and zero real-money gambling.

2. Information Stored & Processed

Local Player Profile & Settings: Your chosen display name, optional local device PIN/biometric lock preference, table rule presets (S17/H17, DAS, Late Surrender), and Reduced Motion accessibility settings stored on your device.
12-Level Curriculum & EV Decision History: Lesson completion, Boss challenge star ratings, granular hand decision logs (used to compute your personal EV Accuracy % and Weak-Spot Drills), and speed counting drill times — stored exclusively in local SQLite.
Skill Coins & Studio Cosmetics: Your Skill Coin balance (earned strictly through mathematically optimal EV decisions and lesson completion) and unlocked avatars, dealers, decks, and table companions.

Blackjack Mastery Trainer operates with 100% on-device persistence. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell your personal data, gameplay logs, or device identifiers on any external server.

3. Android Permissions & Why We Request Them

Biometric / Local Authentication (Optional): Used only if you enable the optional local PIN/biometric lock to protect your Career stats on your phone.
Google Play Billing (com.android.vending.BILLING): Used by Google Play (and RevenueCat, when enabled) to process and restore optional Mastery Pro upgrades. All payment details are processed directly by Google Play.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

No personal or gameplay data is shared with any third parties. All strategy tables, shoe simulations, and EV calculations execute locally on your device.

5. Data Retention & Deletion Controls

You can reset your curriculum progress, EV decision logs, and local profile at any time from Career / Settings → Reset Local Progress, or by uninstalling the app.

6. Educational Simulator Policy (Zero Real-Money Gambling)

Blackjack Mastery Trainer is strictly an educational probability and basic strategy training tool. Skill Coins are earned solely for making mathematically optimal Expected Value (EV) decisions and cannot be purchased with real money, wagered on random outcomes, or redeemed for cash or real-world prizes.

7. Children's Privacy

Blackjack Mastery Trainer is designed for adults and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be published at this URL with an updated Effective Date.
